SafeHarbour Digital exists because of a gap I couldn't stop thinking about — and a problem I lived firsthand.
My parents were in Melbourne. I was overseas. When something went wrong with their computer — a suspicious email, a phone call they weren't sure about, software that stopped working — there was nothing I could do. The distance made me helpless.
What made it worse was that they didn't always know they had a problem, or couldn't explain what was happening. By the time I found out, the damage was done. They were caught by scams more than once.
I'd spent years in IT and knew exactly what tools existed to protect someone's device and keep it secure. But there was no service that brought those tools together, applied them to a real person's machine, and stayed on top of it — in a way a family could trust and a senior could live with comfortably.

We have power of attorney and can sell his house, change his will, or unplug his life support — but we couldn't remote control his PC.

We never configure a device without first meeting the Senior in person, explaining what we are going to do, and getting their agreement. Payment from a family member does not substitute for this. It is non-negotiable.
Sponsors receive security event summaries — not a window into their parent's private life. We monitor for threats, not activity. We will never provide a family member with information about what their parent is doing online.
The service is billed month to month — there are no contracts and no lock-in periods. If you ever want to cancel, just call us. We will remove all monitoring software from your parent's device and step away completely.
I've spent 30 years in IT and technology. When my own parents were caught by online scams — repeatedly, despite everything I tried to do from overseas — I knew I had to build a proper answer to this problem. SafeHarbour Digital is it.
Vladimir brings nearly 40 years of hands-on experience across technology, service desk, computer support and remote management. I've known Vlad for close to 20 years — and when I started working through what SafeHarbour Digital needed to look like in practice, his experience was exactly what the service required. He understands what it takes to support real people with real technology problems, and to do it in a way that builds trust.
All operators hold a current National Police Check before conducting any home visit. You are inviting us into your parent's home — we take that seriously and hold ourselves to the same standard required of anyone working with elderly clients.
Tell us about your situation. We'll confirm whether we're a good fit and walk you through what's involved — no obligation.
